EFFECT OF THE BODY SURFACE AREA AND THE AGE ON THE VARIOUS VENTILATORY FUNCTIONS

Abstract
|
|
|
In this experiment desinged to analyze the effect of body surface area and age on the various ventilatory functions of healthy labourers in the productie age group, it was shown that:
1. The vital capacity was infulenced significantly both by the body surface area and by the age.
2. The maximal breathing capacity and the one second rate(%of total) were effected only by the age in this age group.
3. No effect of the body surface area and the age was observed on the resting minute volume.
